I paint for the awareness of National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255. Depression can be managed. I have tried my best my entire life to handle my own. The chance of being able to possibly help someone in need, is all I am hoping to accomplish. Life. Is. Precious.
As I am naming this painting, I realize, "Red Bouquet Crush" is very fitting.. Just look at the flow of the flowers. How they accommodate each other in the way they have their own purpose in each place on the canvas, just like we do in society. We belong together, not apart. Here's to your imagination when you gaze at your new painting, especially when you have time to truly see all of the beautiful colors inside each flower.. Fighting Fires painting for humanity.. Bold and luscious thick body acrylic paint is so creamy and the colors are just gleaming and so gorgeous together.. I was playing with my paints on this day in March 2020. I actually created another painting underneath part of this painting and I really liked it, but felt it wasn't good enough, so I kept painting over it. There are layers on layers of paint. I love this combination of colors, with turquoise, orange, yellow and red and a stark bit of black.. All I could see when I was done was a fire blazing.. the sun coming out and rain Saving the planet. The fires are contained now but when I painted this the fires were raging, I was crying for the animals lost.. I'm upset now thinking about all of the loss whiletyping this😔. Much 💗 Stephanie

Refreshing your spaces while living during these uncertain times is a popular trend. The orange and pink colors energize your mind and body.. When I was painting these I was in such a good mood, you can see with the flow of the paint brush, I used a wavy flow and it just surfaced into these designs. I layered the paint for the middle panel and it is so creamy and luxurious in person. Especially with the gloss varnish and mod podge used to set the paint. Covid19 has created such a curve in our lives, it seems everyday we find a new direction. Nuff Said. Thick Body Acrylic Paint on canvas is absolutely one of my favorite creativity platforms. The way the creamy texture allows for movement and fluidity is just dreamy. I played around with a large brush and just took out some frustration I had about a very close family member. You know that feeling, when you can't control a situation and you hate it, but you know you need to just change what you are doing to get your mind off of it. Well, yeah, that is what I did when I created these. When these were finished, my hunny said "I REALLY Like Those", so here they are.. Much 💗 Stephanie
